A short note on why compact projects are a good place to learn architecture and delivery discipline.
Small projects are a good place to practice larger engineering habits.
Even when the product surface area is limited, there is still room to think about:
- clear interfaces
- deployment flow
- observability
- versioning
- how the system changes over time
That is often where the interesting work starts. The project may be compact, but the decisions around it are not.
